Marianne's day job is with Education in Motion (EiM) as their global group director. EIM aspires to be the global leader in pioneering education for a sustainable future. It is EiM's mission to have a positive impact on society and the planet through education and is the first international school management group which has implemented ESG reporting.

Marianne arrives with an extensive leadership background in sales, marketing and branding leading complex and structural transformation programs in more than 15 countries across the Asia Pacific region. Most recently, Marianne built a service competitive and differentiating advantage for the BASF Group increasing Customer loyalty and retention in G.China, Korea and the ASEAN countries. Marianne holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Middlebury Institute of International Studies in California with a major in Marketing.

On the personal front, Marianne has a passion for engaging with NGOs supporting young children with no access to schooling. She is involved in competitive equestrian sports coaching daughter Annabelle in her spare-time. Marianne is married to John, both from Denmark, after meeting in Singapore in 2000.
