Unilever Malaysia Achieves Double Certifications For Workplace Wellbeing & Sustainability

IEN would like to congratulate our client, Unilever Malaysia, for achieving double Gold building certifications, for workplace wellbeing (WELL) and building sustainability (LEED). Hereby, Unilever Malaysia becomes the first fast-moving consumer goods company in Malaysia and the first Unilever office globally to obtain WELL Gold v2 certification from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI).

Interestingly, a recent survey of 20 WELL certified buildings and 49 LEED certified buildings found a significantly higher building occupant satisfaction rate in the WELL certified buildings.

Equally interesting and satisfying, the Unilever team is very happy with building certification experience with the end result: A genuinely pleasant office to work in. As such, Unilever Malaysia expressed interest in going for the highest building certification status, once their certification is up for renewal in three years.
